What You’ll Do
As a key member of our legal team, you’ll guide clients through emotionally complex family law matters while providing strategic, solutions-focused representation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Advising clients on family law matters with empathy and professionalism
- Developing legal strategies tailored to each client’s goals
- Representing clients in mediations, negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings
- Drafting motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence
- Empowering clients through education and clear communication
- Collaborating with attorneys and staff to improve processes and client experience
- Maintaining high-quality, cost-effective legal services
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association
- 1–5+ years of legal experience
- Strong legal writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet and phone access
- Commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and client advocacy
Preferred Experience
- Family law experience in Washington State
- Experience with:
- Motions practice
- Mediation
- Collaborative law
- Trial preparation or litigation
- Familiarity with court procedures in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties
- Experience with Clio, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Adobe, Slack, and Apple-based systems
